Whether it’s due to budget or lack of available space, some locker rooms’ footprint just can’t be expanded. This somber fact leaves many facilities wanting more for their staff. More support, more options, and more accessibility to help them transition from on-shift to on their way home. One way that Spacesaver has delivered backup for our customers in this exact situation to date is through our engineered-to-order, retractable bench consisting of maple butcher block material housed within the locker body. While this has been a good fit for many, placing this solution in the locker means it will need to be split into three separate compartments – the main storage area, retractable bench housing, and drawer – and require a locking mechanism for each the main storage area and drawer.
